ISE 2210 - Methods Engineering 3 Cr. Hr(s). This course is a detailed look into measuring and improving an operation or workstation. Tools are used to assess and optimize the work center operation and layout. Development of operation standards for some common service and industrial processes will be demonstrated. The techniques required to develop the necessary documentation (Work Instructions, Routings, Bill of Materials, Work Orders) to ensure a consistent and repeatable process are taught. Performance metrics relating to both labor and material are presented. Two classroom, two lab hours per week. Prerequisite(s): CAM 1109 AND ISE 1120 AND ISE 1130 AND MAN 2110
