HIS 2215 - Survey of African History 3 Cr. Hr(s). A comprehensive exploration of Africa’s people, cultures, and states spanning from ancient times to the present day. This course will navigate through the continent, acknowledging its rich diversity. Key topics covered will encompass Africa’s role as the cradle of humanity, the legacy of ancient empires, the historical enslavement of its population, cultural developments, the era of colonization, and the subsequent post-colonial period.
