Description
The Construction Management Technology program prepares students to lead and manage today’s construction projects through a blend of technical knowledge and real-world experience. Students build skills in project planning and organization, job-site safety, cost estimating, plan reading, surveying, current construction methods, modern building materials, and Building Information Modeling (BIM), while gaining an understanding of how construction trades come together to deliver successful projects.
A hallmark of the program is its emphasis on hands-on learning. Students have opportunities to engage directly with construction trades through applied coursework, apprenticeships, and extended internship experiences that connect classroom learning to active job sites. These experiences help students develop practical skills, professional confidence, and valuable industry connections.
An internship course is required, ensuring every student graduates with meaningful, real-world experience.
Career Opportunities
Graduates pursue careers as project managers, estimators, superintendents, inspectors, and skilled trades professionals across residential, commercial, and governmental sectors.
