Description

The Elementary Education program provides the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to prepare students for transfer to complete their license and enter the field of education within the state of Ohio. The program includes the academic preparation required by the Ohio Department of Education to meet Ohio State Teacher Licensure standards. Students must successfully pass a full criminal background investigation before enrolling in the final program observation course. A grade of “C” or better is required in ALL courses.

Career Opportunities

This degree will serve as a degree for students to transfer to 4-year programs for teacher education in grades PreK-12th.
